Abstract
Rambutan is a tropical fruit that is beloved for its sweet, hairy-looking, red or yellow skin. Colours from rambutan skin is extracted and applied into resist and silkscreen print techniques as a form of artistic expression to explore the different hues and shades from a single source of rambutan skin. I would like to show my exploration of rambutan based dyes for extile design through a collection of garments while underlining the different chracteristics of rambutan through its design.
