Abstract
Natural dyes are substances that can be found in plants that are in our environment. I was inspired by a variety of plants since I find them to be incredibly intriguing and capable of producing stunning and alluring natural hues. Turmeric, roselle, mango leaves, red cabbage, and butterfly pea are some of the natural components I utilized. I apply hand drawn batik , other resist techniques, printing, and weaving to create my final year projects. All of the designs I created are based on carefully chosen motifs and arranged into design compositions. The outcome of using natural dyes on textiles provides me with a fresh perspective that results in a project that could hopefully inspire others.
