Abstract
Eco-tex batik is a design idea with the concept of using natural dyes from turmeric, purple cabbage, innai leaves, butterfly pea and also green spinach. This design collection is also very unique because the colors are produced from natural plants which are designed using hand drawn batik technique. The technique highlighted in this batik is the overlapping of wax and natural colors. All motifs are designed with different styles. The material that I use for my 4-meter length fabric is satin silk. The lines, textures, shapes, blooms, and colors from the various dye source are also the origin for design inspiration.
