Abstract
Reduce Basis Method (RBM) Formwork System is made from metal and can recycle to usage for cast structures and wall that resemble conventional plastered brick structure. The objective for this report is to identify the installation method of the Reduce Basis Method (RBM) Formwork system, identify the plant and machinery, and tools used for installation Reduce Basis Method (RBM) Formwork System. Besides that, to determine the comparison between Reduce Basis Method (RBM) Formwork and Conventional Method Formwork. This report is completed by using the two methods of methodology there are from observation and interview. The installation method of Reduce Basis Method (RBM) formwork system is setup the starter bar, establish the column, the RBM formwork are progress to install, the tie rod is installed between the RBM formwork, the clamp is installed, pump the RBM foam concrete, the RBM formwork are remove after the foam concrete is dry and the last stage is skim coat the wall. The plant and machinery, and tools used for installation of the RBM Formwork System. There is only one plant and machinery which is an RBM mixing machine. Moreover, hammer and tie-rod puller are the tools that is used for installing and remove the RBM formwork. Lastly, the comparison between Reduce Basis Method (RBM) formwork and Conventional method formwork are made based on the function of the formwork, number of workers, duration time taken and cost for the formwork.
