Abstract
This course aims to expose students to the foundation of linguistics. language structures are analysed in terms of phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics. Through this course, students are able to analyse and comprehend language structures and elements of linguistics as a whole in order to use them effectively in verbal and written communication. Students also learn to communicate respectfully and responsibly with others.
