ADE453 : Ceramic painting / Collage of Creative Arts

This course will be introducing entire technique of ceramic surface decorative and types of ceramic surface treatment for studio ceramic discipline. It is will be delivering in two modes which are theory and practical – hands-on. This course will be providing student with holistic knowledge in basic ceramic surface decoration. The student will be fabricating a sample from clay bar for each technique as a practice. Towards the end of the practice, students will be producing a souvenir from ceramic material such as mug and bowl with the ceramic surface decoration that has been practice. The design and development process of pattern for ceramic surface decoration are also the main concern in this course. The introductions of ceramic material, firing technique and safety precaution in working area are also will be discuss.
