ACL731 : Comparative literary & cultural studies / Academy of Language Study

This course focuses on the relationship between literature and culture. The students are required to apply literary and cultural theories in the comparison of literary works across genres and cultures. Ultimately, the students are expected to realise that each individual literary work, regardless of its genre or cultural origin, is a manisfestation of the universal creative spirit.
