TSL450 : Principles and practice in english language teaching / Faculty of Education

This course introduces students to theories, methods and materials in the teaching of English as a Second Language. Specifically the course exposes students to the varieties of methods available in ESL teaching and the emphasis on all aspects of language skills such as writing, reading, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary. This course is a prerequisite to other Methodology courses such as Methodology in Teaching Listening & Speaking, Methodology in Teaching Reading and Methodology in Teaching Writing.
