Abstract
In this course students will review and read literary texts used in Malaysian secondary schools. Through reading and thinking about issues in these texts, future TESL teachers will firstly, be able to use the issues to plan literature in English lessons in a subsequent teaching of literature course. Secondly, the students are able to learn how to relate the literary texts to the real world of their teenage students and teaching literature effectively and creatively.
