TSL051 : College study skills / Faculty of Education

This course prepares students with survival skills needed for college life. It exposes the students with the concepts of academia e.g. effective time management, setting goals, learning styles, learning strategies, test taking strategies and processing information from lectures and texts. It also caters for students’ well-being – their transition from secondary schools to being university students. Thus, students will get the most from their tertiary education in becoming better students and successful individuals in their future undertakings.
