TSL012 : Collage reading II / Faculty of Education

This reading course for intermediate students is a four-hour credit course which meets two times a week for fourteen weeks. This is the second series of two reading courses that will reinforce the basic reading skills and strategies that have been covered in the previous reading course. Students will later be exposed to different types of texts as to give them a more comprehensive picture of academic reading. The reading materials provided will require careful evaluation and judgement which goes beyond basic reading comprehension skills. This course will guide students to develop inferential and critical thinking skills to become effective and active readers.
