EDU757 : Research project / Faculty of Education

This course is consultative in nature and students will complete a research thesis or creative project that demonstrates mastery and application of advanced research and analytic skills related to their respective field of specialization.The aim of the course is to demonstrate that a student can conduct a research study and produce an academic piece of writing or creative project.This involves working independently, under supervision, in order to gain experience of integrating and applying different elements encountered in the various courses to find solutions for problems identified. Research/Creative projects may differ substantially across disciplines, they typically involve from the conceptualisation of the problem to developing a feasible research plan to collect and analyze data culminating to the discussion of findings and implications. Students completing this course will receive substantial guidance and support from their respective supervisor(s) during the completion of the required thesis or creative project.
