EDU606 : Teaching practice / Faculty of Education

Teacher trainees are required by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to have actual classroom teaching experiences in teacher education programme. During the practicum, trainees will have the opportunities to transfer knowledge and skills in their area of specialisation or major (i.e. TESL, Art, PJK, Commerce Math or Science) by integrating theory with practice. Trainees will be guided and supervised by practicum supervisors and school mentors for the duration of the practicum. All teacher trainees are expected to follow the current and relevant syllabus as stipulated by MOE and the scheme of work provided by the schools.
