Abstract
Warning system based on movement detection was developed to monitor the Faculty of Defence Science and Technology lecturer's room and its surrounding from unwanted incident like aggression, theft of property and many more. This system is intended to help responsible party in UPNM in controlling the safety level with minimal use of cost yet effective. This system uses a web camera together with alarm triggering ability. This system also will detect any movement taken by the web camera and then the alarm system will be activated as a warning signal due to the existence of movements in the area. This system allows users to check the recorded.
