Lately there are various issues involving breach of code of ethics amongst the employees towards their organisations. Almost every day there are news on the reported cases of misappropriation of funds, abuse of power, corruptions, fraud, embezzlement, and forgery etc. These misconducts occurred across the industries irrespective of their size and sectors. Those situations indicate that there was a decline of ethics in such organisations due to lack of focus on the task at hand and unwillingness to sacrifice short terms benefits for the long term good of the society. Therefore, this system called 'Islamic World Ethic Indicator' being developed to indicate the level of Islamic ethic among employees in the organisation. This indicator can be used by organisation either during interview session or it can be used each year to determine the level of Islamic ethic of their employees after several courses being done or before the employee being promoted to higher position in the organisation. Various studies already initiate that Islamic Work Ethics can influence employee's commitment toward their organization, which will ensure success of the organization. This indicator consists of statements relating to ethic that being divided into three sections covering elements of individual & spiritual, organisational ethic and works ethic.
