Method of capital assistance given by zakat institutions to Asnaf entrepreneurs in Kuala Lumpur / Muhammad Arif Syazwan Sahril

Entrepreneurship is one of the most important fields to a country's economy. However, some entrepreneurs certainly have problems in their business such as asnaf entrepreneurs. In this paper, we will discuss about asnaf entrepreneurs in Kuala Lumpur as well as the MAIWP who distribute zakat assistance to them. At the beginning of this paper discusses the meaning of entrepreneur and asnaf. There are also some groups who are eligible to receive zakat will be discussed and this paper will also highlight the importance of asnaf entrepreneurs in the national economy. MAIWP zakat distribution statistics are also described and the amount of assistance to asnaf entrepreneurs in Kuala Lumpur in 2019 and 2020. Next, in chapter 3 we discuss the method of data collection in this paper and in chapter 4 the results from the data collected. At the end of this paper will discuss the recommendations to asnaf entrepreneurs, zakat institutions and the government in helping asnaf entrepreneurs and the conclusions of this whole paper.
