Abstract
University Technology Mara is one of the world recognized university where it consist of all bumiputera students. In order to uphold the bumiputera status in achieving success in term o education, UiTM has provided hostel and the Non Residents for the students welfare. Somehow, in our study, we wanted to know the comparison between these 2 choices that offered by the UiTM students and what are the result from these comparison. Whether students prefer the hostel or rent outside of campus. Questionnaire distribute to a random sample of 200 respondents from UiTM Samarahan. The objective of this study is to look into problems faced by the students in applying for hostel and renting outside campus. It seems that students have difficulties in dealing with the UiTM college staff because they doesn’t have a suitable time. The second objective is to obtain as much recommendation from the respondents to improve the UiTM college unit so that they could upgrade the maintenance of facilities and effective management in the future. This study is also determines the relationship between the cooperation between UiTM college department and UiTM management.
