Abstract

Properties of paper made from Pandanus amaryllifolius pulped with soda pulping process with different time were studied. The time varies from 1 to 3 hours to determine the optimum strength of paper. 25% of NaOH and 10,000 beating revolution were used for each batch of pulping hours. The result showed that the time has significant affect on Pandanus amaryllifolius paper properties.
