The usage of social media among the degree students of the Faculty of Science and Natural Resources in University Malaysia Sabah / Angey Keresley Emin and Devra Elora Habil

Internet is the most wanted tool for information and communication technology that has brought the powerful changes in the information scenario. This internet helps student to increase the ability to broaden their knowledge in academic and social interaction by accessing to the information world and also make their life easier to communicate to their academic community. Though there are many advantages that student gain from the usage of internet but there has been growing concern regarding the risk associated with unlimited used of internet. It is reported that the implication of internet use towards student social interaction as well on the student academic performances. This paper aims to study the usage of Social Media among the students from faculty of Science and Natural Resources in University Malaysia Sabah.
