Abstract
The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between the knowledge Waqf, benefits of Waqf, promotion of Waqf and socio-cultural disposition of Waqf towards Muslim perception towards Waqf in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Also, this research aims to identify which of the independent variables provide a significant impact towards the perception of Waqf. A sample of 154 were collected and analyzed. The findings revealed that there is a significant relationship between the knowledge of Waqf, benefits of Waqf, promotion of Waqf and socio-cultural disposition with the Muslim perception towards Waqf in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah respectively. In is also concluded that the socio-cultural disposition has the biggest influence towards the Muslim perception towards Waqf in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In addition, recommendations are also suggested and discussed.
