AGR390: Industrial Training / Faculty of Plantation and Agrotechnology

Students are required to undergo a closely supervised practical training for duration of fourteen (14) weeks in industries, research institutions or related government agencies. This will provide opportunities to the students to gain valuable working experience in related areas. The students are expected to submit a written report and logbook of their training. Presentation will be conducted after practical training is complete. This report together with the logbook, presentation and feedback from the participating industries/agencies will be evaluated and graded. Respectively, students who fail to complete the studies required for a semester can be denied the right to participate in the following practical training session. Practical training session will be conducted during the last semester (semester 6) for diploma programmes.
