RENTAP: Penggalang Class Boat (Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency) / Muhammad Zuhairi Zira Azizul Khairi

Marine/Maritime/Water mobility vehicles may be divided into transport, including cargo, container, and passenger ships and nontransport including fishing vessels, service craft such as tugs and supply vessels, and warships. It's defined as the process of moving people, freight and mails by barge, boat, ship, or sailboat over a sea, ocean, lake, canal, and river or by other types of water transportation. It is the cheapest means of transporting bulky and perishable goods over long distances. Examples of marine/maritime/water mobility vehicles are motorboat, speedboat, canoe, jetski, riverboat, windsurfer, etc. I chose to design a boat for the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) team, a Penggalang Class Boat. The Penggalang Class Boat named as Rentap. Rentap comes from the name of a figure in the struggle for independence in Malaya. Rentap is a famous Dayak {lban) warrior in the history of Sarawak. He was one of the leaders of the opposition to the rule of White King James Brooke. The name given to this Penggalang Class Boat is to further elevate the image of grandeur and ferocity on this boat. This Rentap boat is to be used as interceptor boats and special operations that require speed to arrive at the desired place. The objectives of Rentap are (1) Designing a luxury and aggressive looking Onuk MRTP 16 boat concept, (2) Upgrading boat for the better experience, {3) Improving boat comfortable for long journey, and (4) Upgrading the weapons to ensure a strong defense. It is hoped that, with this invention, the design of this Rentap boat will provide more benefits and facilities to the Malaysian Maritime Force to carry out tasks and operations at sea. This Rentap boat will also provide comfortness to the Malaysian maritime team to carry out tasks and this boat will provide a different experience compared to the previous boat design.
