The design of mechanical services for a computer room / Zainudin Yahya and Meor Mohd Nazir Mohd Alwi

In a computer room or places where expensive and sophisticated equipments are kept, it is important that the safety of the equipments and it's operator are assured. Therefore we designed Mechanical Services to give the protection and comfort needed for them. There are many aspects of Mechanical Services in a computer room, but in this report we would like to mention only two important things of the Mechanical Services i.e. Air Conditioning system and Halon gas 1301 fire protection system. In designing the Mechanical Services for the computer room, we have been exposed to various ideas on how engineering problems are solved. With this report we hope the reader will have some ideas on how Mechanical Services are designed.
