IBNU SINA: medic boat / Muamar Mukhaiyar Mahzan

IBNU SINA is a medic boat or in other words, water ambulance. lbnu Sina designed for Malaysian Ministry of Health with specific room and equipment for rescue and treatment according to some problems that found from a research in pandemic era. The problems are Malaysia are lack of medic boat due to some reason. Some of them are that Malaysia don't have enough budget for it because it's too expensive. Next, the existing medic boats in Malaysia don't have a complete equipment that required for medics. When the Covid-19 vaccine was introduced, Malaysia faced problems in sending the vaccines to several islands in Sabah and Sarawak. Current boats can't be used at high speeds and don't have a suitable place to properly stored vaccines. A descriptive survey and observations were conducted on 30 respondents consisting of doctors, engineers, medical officers and more, through Google Form. 90 percent of them agreed with the new initiative to design special boats for medical missions. According to this survey, lbnu Sina designed to look more modern with appropriate speed and full equipment for treatment. It's also has comfortable space for patients and crews to rest. With the presence of lbnu Sina, the medic boat, the problems that once happened in Sabah and Sarawak will not happened again and show Malaysia is a modern country.
