Abstract
Smart Cart is a smart shopping cart that makes quick grocery trips without contact with others. Smart Cart has built both scanning hardware and a payment terminal directly into a shopping cart. The user can pay by using the pay-wave method available on Smart Cart. Smart Cart will be available on speed mart, mini market, fish market, and other markets. With the smart cart, shoppers pick up the cart and have the option of scanning their loyalty card. Then they scan each item before placing it in the cart. The design objective of this Smart Cart is to reduce contact between customers and employees furthermore speed up the purchases at the grocery store. In this way, it can reduce the transmission of Covid-19 outbreaks.
