Abstract
This study examines the response of the macroeconomics variables towards Malaysia stock market. The macroeconomics variables that involve in this study is the interest rate, the exchange rate and the gross domestic product. The data of this study are collected yearly from the period 2009 to 2015 of listed companies in Bursa Malaysia. The data will be conducted by using the panel data. The dependent variables that include in this study are the stock return and it will be measure by using the Thompson Reuters DataStream. While the independent variables in this study are the interest rate, exchange rate and the gross domestic product. The study shows all the data are significant to the other variables. The aim of this study is to find the relationship between the microeconomic variables towards the stock market in Malaysia. The findings show that there are positive relationship between the variables.
