Coordination and controlling method for construction project / Zaiti Kamsan

This dissertation report is based on a study about findings and analysis of coordination (scheduling) and controlling (planning) method for construction project. The comparisons case study are made in term of planning and scheduling techniques to give better management in time monitoring using method of network analysis Critical Path Method (CPM). Objectives of this study are to identify the application of CPM in construction industry and its effectiveness. However, the application CPM needs expertise and experienced person to built effective and efficient in time monitoring, management resources and materials. In addition to, delay in construction project silently exist even used CPM as a guide to resolve problems. The recommendations are given to upgrade the performances of CPM as a method to coordinate and control construction projects to avoid any delay which uneconomically in terms of labour, material, machinery and money.
