Abstract
Investment and commerce today have evolved into various platforms especially its implementation which can now be done only in mobile phones only and supported by the development of broadband internet. Not to be outdone is also the Islamic investment and trade which also promotes their services or products into the digital market. However, the development of online distribution platform that is too fast has caused some Muslim users to be involved in investing and trading that is not allowed by the Shariah. As with Forex trading which has been declared Haram by the National Fatwa Council, there are still many Muslims who are still involved in this trade. Not to forget the students who were also influenced to join the trade. The focus of this study is to examine the involvement of students at Universiti Teknologi Mara Terengganu branch in Forex trading. This study has not been conducted by any researcher; therefore, this is a pioneer discussing this issue. In addition, the study also focuses on research on the factors that cause students to be involved or not involved in this trade. As a result of this study, it will be possible to analyse the factors that exist at the same time revealing to the public about how and why the fatwa was issued. As a result, the level of awareness among students will increase and lead to an increase in the number of students who are literate about the law of religious judges.
