The impacts of excessive internet usage among youth in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur / Dian Natasha Mohd Haizam and Siti Nur Aishah Rosli

The internet users are youths, and they mostly utilize it for social connection. Despite the fact that teens can utilize the internet to help them with their developmental objectives, this study has been conducted a survey among the youth in Kuala Lumpur to answer the questionnaire given and fulfil the impact of excessive internet usage. This research used a quantitative methods and convenience sampling involving 232 respondents. The finding from the research indicates the excessive internet usage have the significant relationship with all the effects studied. However, the internet pornography was the most significant impact due to excessive internet usage among youth in Kuala Lumpur.
