Abstract
Despite the fact that service levels, environmental consequences, and prices change quickly. Malaysia has struggled with poor solid waste management. Poor solid waste management practices contributed to additional issues, including those with the environment and human health. Therefore, the study's goal was to investigate the aspects that influence Selangor communities' ability to manage their solid waste. Solid waste management was the dependent variable in this study, whereas knowledge, attitude, and practice were the independent variables. In order to reflect all of the variables in this study, the Theory of Planned Behavior was utilized as the underlying theory. This study employed quantitative research methods and relied on primary data from a survey of a broader population sample in Selangor. The data collection procedure used in this study was an online questionnaire, and there were 250 participants in this study. The data gathered from the conducted survey has been analyzed using a tool called IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results of the correlation analysis indicated that there are strong links between community knowledge, attitude, and practice with regard to solid waste management.
