Abstract
Maintenance is an activity performed to properly maintain, and repair is an activity performed to correct defects or damage present in a structure (Patil, 2019). This will discuss about the types of defects, maintenance and repair solution. The aim for this report is to restore the building to their original form of standard and to maintain equipment and construction services and structures. The method that been use in Jasa Sendi (M) SDN BHD is observing the defect such as crack, gap, dampness and etc., the defect will be classified with a unit risk. Jasa Sendi (M) SDN BHD classified the defect risk by using BARIS assessment. Another method is creating a plan for the building. This report is focusing on the defect and maintenance for a building based on the safety guideline. It will create a safety environment for the client and other people.
