Abstract
This research is about an User Acceptance of e-Book and Student Intention to Use: A Case Study of form 1 student Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tengku Intan Zaharah, Dungun, Terengganu. The respondent for this research are form 1 students of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tengku Intan Zaharah, Dungun. The rationale behind choosing form 1 students are because of their’s experiences using e-Book when they were at primary school. The objective of this study are: 1) To investigate the relationship between the perceive usefulness of e-Book and student intention to use and 2) To investigate the relationship between the perceive ease of use of e-Book and student intention to use. This study is based on descriptive research as it describes the characteristics of an existing phenomenon. The sample size is 107 and the unit of analysis is individual with the instrument of Likert Scale Question and Close Ended Question. Questionnaires are used to collect the data and mean analysis is used to analyze the data. There were three variables in the research which are Perceive Usefulness (PU), Perceive Ease of Use (PEOU) and Student Intention to Use (ITU). The result of the research shows that the variables are positively correlated with each other. From the analysis, there were weak and strong positive relationships. It can be concluded there is a positive relationship between both of the variables. The alternate hypotheses were accepted and this shows that the research is successfully done. This research should make a contribution by using other students at others school as their respondents.
