Abstract
Hydro power is now recognized as a method that can operate dependable electrical energy with less effects. It is self-renewing and does not pollute water or air, reduces the dependence on imported sources of energy such as oil, hydrocarbon, etc. it also does not place burdens on future generations. Due to the increased cost of hydrocarbon over last decade, there has been great interest in Mini Hydro in the developing countries.
