An appraisal of prosecution and investigation: critical analysis of the weakness in case investigation and procurement of evidence which do not reach the standard needed to secure conviction in criminal trials / Naliatul Huzaimi Ab Rasip

This research was conducted to critically analyse the issue regarding the weaknesses incase investigation and prosecution in court which involved the testimony collection methods and acceptable evidence that reaches the standard or requirement needed for it to be admissible in the court. This topic was chosen because recently the police and the Attorney-General's Chamber have been under attack because of so many accused in high profile cases had been acquitted due to the weaknesses of either in the investigation or the prosecution. Therefore, this issue needs more discussion and explanation for future benefits.
