Determinant of working capital management on firm profitability : cases of technology sector in Malaysia / Rahimah Laiji

This paper would examine the determinant of working capital management on firm profitability cases of the technology sector in Malaysia. The general objective of this research study is to determine whether working capital management, liquidity, financial leverage and growth has a significant relationship towards firm profitability in the technology sector in Malaysia. The measurement being used in this study for instance return on asset, cash conversion cycle, current ratio, debt ratio and sales growth in which to examine the independent and the dependent variables. Method of cross sectional data with an average data set compared to other relevant studies, with the 10 different companies consist in technology sector in Malaysia across 7 years of research will be observed in this study. After run a few test under cross sectional method the result from the finding shows there is insignificant relationship between all independent towards the dependent variables. This is means that all the variables do not give huge impact towards the profitability in the companies in technology sector in Malaysia.
