Effectiveness of information dissemination at Centre for Postgraduate Studies, Universiti Malaysia Sabah / Jumawati Catacutan

Effective information dissemination leads to effective quality service. Four elements have been identified as factors that affecting the effectiveness of information dissemination at the Centre for Postgraduate Studies, Universiti Malaysia Sabah. The four elements are staff, Information Communication Technology (ICT) facility, office facility and written procedures/guidelines. This study consist the reviewed level of effectiveness of information dissemination at Centre for Postgraduate Studies and elements that affect the level of effectiveness of information. The sample of population was taking from postgraduate students living in hostel. The findings suggest that the level of effectiveness of information dissemination at the centre is effective. The four elements are affecting the level of effectiveness of information at the Centre. It is recommended that major improvements need to be done on ICT facilities and staff professionalism. Utilisation of Office facilities also recommended to be at the maximum level.
