Perception of single mothers towards program benefits provided by the Persatuan Ibu Tunggal Pantai Barat Sabah (PITPBS) / Farhana Azwinee Muhaili

The purpose of this paper is to determine the perception on the benefit of programs offered by the Persatuan Ibu Tunggal Pantai Barat Sabah (PITPBS) toward to single mothers and to compare the perception between education which are SPM and below and STPM and above on the benefit of the program of the single mothers. Even though, single mothers has received a lot of attention from researcher and policy makers, but they are stilt lived in poverty cycle. By using questionnaires survey, the researcher has an opportunity to determine the perception of the single mothers on the benefit of programs offered by the PITPBS. Other than that, by using the convenience random sampling also, the researcher has targeted in Sabah population only especially to the single mothers. This finding has suggested that give more exposure about the existence of the single mother's federation through the media electronic, increase the number of expertise trainer for the association and give enough facilities to the single mother's federation.
