Abstract
Glow in the dark (GITD) is a new invention to be used in the emergency exit lane. Basically, the scientific name of GITD is “Phosphorescence”. GITD is a set of unique designs about human safety and the security of their belonging during any occurrences especially blackout at the workplace. The aim of this study is to help the individual and organization to get a better understanding of GITD and how to apply it appropriately at their workplace. The objective of this design is to help the organization to minimize accidents among the employees during the production process because when the organizations create an accident free environment, it will improve the motivation and discipline among the employees. This design will give clear directions to the employees towards emergency exit. Furthermore, this design also helps them to prevent injuries or accidents while going through the emergency exit. This shows that, this design is focussed more on the safety. The benefits are numerous: First, cost saving. The organization does not need a lot of money to apply this design at the workplace because the cost for building this design is not too expensive and affordable. Secondly, it’s easy to be used by all the members in the organizations. This is because it is easy to formulate the implementation and evaluate this design and it saves time. In conclusion, this design is very useful as it provides a safe environment.
