Abstract
This study aims to focus on the driving effective visibility and perspective angle with the side mirror which creating the 'blind spot' among driver and worsen their view and decision in emergency situation. Collected data gathered from side mirror products with focus on visual design comparative analysis, driving ethnography observation and focus interview with coach manufacturers and expertise. Design consideration specify to develop pilot test specification as to provide simulation model for effective driving visibility and safety integrating with the driver relations with side mirror angle and perspective characteristics. Cross data references and visual design matric evaluation contributes to specific design direction for new product development. New product developments base on this information where design ideation developed through multi approach and manuals sketches transformed to Digital approach for durability and aerodynamic evaluation for commercial development.
