Abstract
The management of waste in Malaysia International Airport is an important aspect that has to be carried out in a proper manner to ensure the cleanliness of the airport building. Because of that reason, the management of system has to be efficient and systematically implemented. Waste management may be defined as that discipline associated with the control of generation, storage, collection the waste in airport building. In this scope of waste management system includes all management, manpower and staff, machinery and equipments, maintenance and budget.At this time, the expenditure for Waste Management System increased from time to time in Malaysia International Airport. The upgrading of the building may cause the building itself need to improved to the waste system. To study the types of the system. The objective of the study are to understand about the system operation, maintenance of waste collection system, and to compare the effectiveness of the system between the Malaysia International Airport. The methodology of this study are via the interview and the observation. From the study, Kuala Lumpur International Airport is effective of the using of the waste management system compare to Senai International Airport and Sultan Mahmud International Airport.
