Abstract
The purpose of this study is to see the perception of rural people towards Vision 2020 and their awareness about the infrastructure development in their area. The study was done at Kg. Pituru (Darat and Laut), Kota Belud, Sabah. The respondent of this research were the villagers of Kg. Pituru Darat and Kg. Pituru Laut, Kota Belud, Sabah. The result shows that the villagers were very optimist towards Vision 2020. They were optimist in the agenda of government in achieving the Vision 2020 and very optimist towards government intervention in the development of infrastructure in the village as well. There were only the perceptions towards government participation was quiet low because of less intervention from government towards the development of the village regarding to the interviewing session with the respondent which is the villagers itself.
