WiFi based motion sensor intruder system with video monitor / Mizy Shamirul Masrulhisham

The security system these days does not only applied to a big building for company in instance, but also personal home. There are various home security system available out there range from only by Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) monitoring to alarm based home security system. However, this kind of system cost quite a fortune and somewhat are not user friendly enough which might be a reason why people are reluctant to have it as part of the security measures from intrusion, burglary and robbery. This is also not a pleasant thing considering the rate of mentioned cases has been increasing each day. Therefore, this project, "Wi-Fi Based Motion Sensor Intruder System with Video Monitor" was proposed and designed to provide the solution to the mentioned problem by providing a more user friendly home security system which is also less costly than any available home security system out there. It consists of a motion sensor, Arduino Yun which provides the communication between the user and the system. This proposed design are also consists of a webcam for remote viewing and speaker for the alarm sound. The alarm will be triggered when motion detect a movement made near the area. The webcam will then capture the picture and send it to the user via their assigned email. The email is sent using the Simple Mail Text Protocol (SMTP).
