Abstract
Building maintenance as a part of construction process, maintenance has an important role to ensure the long live of the constructed building. In other sides, the building maintenance also can be defined as the regular inspection of all parts in the building and execution of work necessary to keep the structure, finishes and fitting in a proper and acceptable state of repair, it also including decoration both internally and externally (Cripps, 1984) Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara (IKBN) formerly known as the Pusat Latihan Belia was introduced by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 1964. IKBN are built to prevent unemployment by providing skills training among youth dropped out. In the early 1990s expanded the training program to the development of human resources in the field of training youth vocational and technical skills to produce skilled manpower for the needs of the country's industrial sector. Up to now the Ministry of Youth and Sports has 19 the institutes include an Institut Kemahiran Tinggi Belia Negara (IKTBN) (Ministry of Youth and Sports, 1964) Built up of the IKBN is show that government are committed to providing more opportunities for skills training to youth in various vocational and technical fields in accordance with the requirements of skilled manpower (Ministry of Youth and Sports, 1964)
