Abstract

Bunga59Cafe is a start-up café from an old house in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. Bunga59Cafe expects to catch the interest of their neighbors at first as they are located at a small village name Sungkak. The owner plan to build a strong bond with the market position in the village, knowing that they are only a small café made from scratch and it is impossible to grow big. Bunga59Cafe aims to offer its uniqueness products to share their passion about foods and to meet the demand of the lower-to middle-income local market area residents. Bunga59Cafe is a partnership business between a married couple. It is managed by their owner, Mr. Saharudin, who is also the head chef of the café. Helped by his wife, Madam Roslina, who is also the accountant and the assistant chef for Bunga59Cafe. The company intends to hire 5 full-time staffs to fit barista, assistant barista, baker, kitchen helper and waitress positions to handle customer service and day to day operations. The café provides freshly prepared meals, pastry and coffee upon requested at all times during business operations. Ingredients for their meals are purchased at the fresh market maintains the quality of their foods. As for coffees, they purchased coffee beans imported from Indonesia and been using a premium high-quality type that are strong and delicious to full-fill customers cravings and needs of caffeine. The food and beverages services in Kuala Pilah has recently experienced rapid growth after the pandemic outbreak. Bunga59Cafe wants to establish a large regular customer base, and will therefore sustain its business and concentrate its marketing on local residents, which will be the dominant target market. This will establish a strong and consistent revenue base to ensure stability of the café. Bunga59Cafe sales of about RM5,000 starting from their first opening until recently close account and the profitability is increasing. The café aims or mission is bringing a new menu to make sure customers have can have a variety meal. Besides, they are still in expanding period with the whole café and with the workers to offer a high quality and quantity to serve the customers.
