Abstract
This project paper studies on the economic crisis that hit Malaysia on July 1997 and the actions taken by the government to recover the economy from the crisis. The objective of the study is to look on how bad the economy was affected by the crisis. It also looks on whether Malaysia had recovered or not its economy. The data was collected from the Economic Recovery Plan implemented by the National Economic Action Council (NEAC).
