Faraid: interactive learning and tutorial mobile application / Nuri Sadida Ramli

Faraid: Interactive Learning and Tutorial mobile application is a learning application that gives information about Islamic law of inheritance, known as faraid. Lack of knowledge is one of the main problems in faraid as there are news that reported that inheritance were not taken over because families are ignorant about faraid and also there are conflicts in family's relationship because of faraid itself. This application is developed specially to help user learn and understand the Islamic law of inheritance interactively. The learning part of this application consists of the notes and the calculator. The notes act as references to understand faraid and the calculator act as the tutorial for the user to actually apply the knowledge of how inheritance is actually divided. To develop this project, there are five main stages involved that is introduction, literature review, methodology, analysis and discussions and conclusion and recommendations. The methodology used is the User-Centered Design, involving five phases of plan, research, design, adapt and measure. The interview conducted resulted to the defining of requirements of the project and also the discussion of the design and development phase of the project. Some future recommendation that can be applied to this project would be to insert some case studies related to the actual syariah court can be applied directly and to add more interactive element, insert animation regarding faraid. This project will give benefits and significance towards Muslims since the notes and calculator is made especially for them to learn faraid.
