The virtual file room system for virtual teamwork / Wan Nurulnasuha Wan Ab Aziz

Research has shown that long distance discussions need a medium to assist people to have a good communication at different time zones, cultures or languages which are united by a common goal. Rapid development of the internet has assisted people communicate more efficiently in doing work and solve the problems especially in different places. On this occasion,Virtual File Room System is developed to ease people to have real time editing document. By introducing this system, the member of the teamworkcan have a real time document editing, viewing and monitoring. Thus, the members can make some correction every document directly from the file room that has been given by the superior. By using VFRS, a superior can create and edit a document online and at the same time the other member can see the changes of the file. History of the file can be viewed to track changes of the document and who responsible for the changes. This will greatly assist the teamwork and also helps the superior to track and monitor performance of every person in the team. The development of this web system will implement the use of PHP and phpMyAdmin in developing the dynamic web pages.
