Designing personality test using TAJMA psychometric test / Nurul Azfar Izzatie Haris

There are so many academic programs are offered by public and private universities. It happened at most students from secondary school as they do not know how to make right decision and yet they preferred to choose the academic programs that are qualified. TAJMA Career Interest Test is one of modules that are located in IMASCU. This module is developed for SPM Leavers in continuing Diploma Programs offered by UiTM. This module is focused on defining the career interest traits to assist students to choose the right programmes. According to Tajudin (2009), to make the vocational psychology test become more comprehensible, students need to answer career interest test and personality test in package to ensure the outcome validity. TAJMA Personality Test is developed as a second guidance to assist student to define the personality traits of an individual in measuring their behaviour in life. The main reasons of the development of the prototype are to presept the rules based are developed to automate the personality result. Besides that, present the design of website layout that suited with user requirement and the flow of the prototype is clearly defined. There are three objectives of this research. First, is to identify rules to be used in matching and calculating the traits of TAJMA Personality Test Instruments. Second, is to design the TAJMA Personality Test interfaces. Third, is to demonstrate the TAJMA Personality Test Modules. Since this research development is in prototyping phase, Prototype Methodology is applied to conduct the research according to standard. Every phases of methodology has resulted the objectives outcomes. First, identify rules to be used in matching and calculating the traits on TAJMA Personality Traits. Second, is designed the TAJMA Personality Test interfaces by referring to Principles For Website Design and described all the graphical elements and functionalities. Lastly, is demonstrated the TAJMA Personality Test Modules which is presented the flow of the system and the graphical views.
