A study on factors influencing BYOD adoption in FSKM / Nurul Shuhada Abd Razak

This study aims at assessing the factors influencing Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)adoption among Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Science (FSKM) staff. This study is initiate because of the reduction in the budget for the Ministry of Higher Education for the year 2016. The reduction will affect the budget allocation for each local universities and directly will affect the financial operation among each faculties. The amount allocation for operating and maintaining IT infrastructure is huge. Thus, this study suggest that BYOD is implement in order to cut the high amount distributed for ICT device. Since FSKM is towards implementing BYOD in future, this study might be beneficial as a references. BYOD can be defined as the concept that give freedom to employees to use their personal devices for working purpose.
