Abstract

This paper present the project and the development of a prototype Automatic Window Rain Detector. This is a project to help the people at home who are working by day and those who love to open the window whether its day or night. This project is to help these people to not to worry about their home when they open the window as the window will automatically close as it raining. This project uses moist sensor or water sensor as the switch to act as the ON/OFF switch where it will detect as the rain touches the sensor and the system will react to it. The Arduino that will be used will be program to give order to part of the electronic that connect with it to switch on the motor to close the window. L298N Dual H-Bridge Motor Controller is used to control the motor. It can control the DC motor to move it whether to left or right based on the jumper connnected . For example , when it is raining the drop from the rain will touches the sensor that activate the circuit that will be order by Arduino to move the motor and slide the window close.
